Who Are We at Pfeiffer Art Supply?

My name is Jen Pfeiffer, and I launched Pfeiffer Art Supply in June of 2016. We are a very small online art supply store that carries handmade non toxic watercolor paints. We are hoping to add handmade watercolor notebooks in the not to distant future. 

I wanted to incorporate a few things that I love in life into my business. First, I absoulutly LOVE color. Years ago, I used to blow glass and was enthralled with how color could really shape or evoke an idea or feeling into a piece of artwork. Color is foremost in my thoughts when I sit down to paint, and I wanted to create a business around the whole element of color. 

Second, I LOVE nature and animals.  If you ask anyone who knows me, they will all agree that I would be totally comfortable living life on a farm. I would have pigs, chickens, goats, horses, cows, etc.  The whole SHA-BANG!  But instead, I live in a regular family home with two dogs, one cat, three rabbits, one pesky squirrel and lots of goldfish. I have been baned in my house from acquiring any more animals. Hee-Hee.  I would really like to have a bird but alas the answer is NO for now.  So when I started crafting my paints, I thought why not use birds as my muse.  I was doodling in my sketchbook a cute chickadee birdie, and WA-LA, the beginnings of my logo appeared.
